Day in the life of the dogs

[Interior] Madison sleeps peacefully on the bench under the window. Montel is spread across the couch snoring quietly. Vicki is laying on the back of the couch dreaming.

Vicki growls deeply.

Madison: I think I hear a noise!! Bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark. Is there something there? Do you hear it? Bark, bark, bark, bark.

Montel: Mom's in trouble!! There is something going on! I must leap to her protection! Bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark.

Vicki: Why are they barking? There must be something going on! Bark, bark, bark. HOWL.

Madison: If they are barking, there must have been a noise. See that? Something moved out there!! Bark, bark, bark, bark.

Montel: I don't see anything. I'm bored.

Montel returns to his spot on the couch. It is still warm.

Vicki: I don't either. But, just to be on the safe side. Bark, bark, bark. HOWL.

Vicki then lays back down on the back of the couch. She is asleep immediately.

Madison: Phew. It's gone. It's ok.

Madison goes back to sleep. 10 minutes pass. A white plastic bag flutters across the lawn.

Madison: I think I hear a noise!! Bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark. Is there something there? Do you hear it? Bark, bark, bark, bark.

[End scene.]
